Why a River Run?
To paraphrase Rosie Little, the crazy bush pilot from the movie Never Cry Wolf: “We’re all prospectors in one form or another, but to tell you the truth, to let you in on a little secret, the gold’s not in the ground. The gold’s sitting in living rooms stuck in front of the boob tube bored to death. Bored to death!”
Adventure is where we come alive! It is at the very core of our masculine soul.
The River Run is an opportunity to experience adventure together. Whether you are experienced in a canoe, or this is your first time with a paddle in hand, come join us as we navigate our way down the Grand River. While we won’t be shooting white-water rapids, we will have three experienced men to safely guide us down the river.
Join us after for barbecue meal.
Come on your own and we will connect you with another man, or consider inviting your son, nephew, brother, friend, father or grandfather. Join us on the river Saturday September 14th!
Grand River Band of Brothers would like to invite you on a one day’s adventure and a message of hope from our brothers in which God has transformed their lives.
